Dr. Katrina Burruss is a best-selling author, mother, wife, US Air Force military veteran, and "She" preneur. Her most recent literary work entitled "The Karma of Yes" was the number one new release on Amazon and Kindle during its release in June 2019. Her outstanding writing skills have earned her features on Fox News, CBS, Sheen Magazine, Voyage ATl, The Prevailing Woman Magazine, and many podcasts platforms to include Coffee and Collaborations and the Girl Boss Podcast. Her articles and talks focus on empowering women that have overcome varying levels of adversity–but never at the expense of providing an entertaining read. Not only that, Katrina travels around the state, sharing her story on many different platforms with hopes of inspiring women (and men) to fight for their happiness and freedom.
Katrina is a graduate of Fayetteville State University and a recent graduate of Nova South Eastern University where she obtained her Doctor of Health Science Degree. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. She currently works in the field of Clinical Laboratory Science as a Medical Laboratory Director and she is all the creator of The BECOME H.E.R. Speaker's Series.
